Project Engineer - Electrical Construction

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $46-$58 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 40+ Hours Weekly | Monday-Friday | Flexible Schedule

As we continue to take on larger and more complex projects, we're looking for a Project Engineer who is ready to build technical expertise, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop into a future project leader. This position offers a mix of office and field responsibilities, including local travel to project sites and close collaboration with project managers, foremen, vendors, and customers.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of electrical construction or project support experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Knowledge of NEC, Washington State electrical code, and construction practices
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Journeyman Electrician license is preferred
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu is preferred
• Experience with eSUB or similar construction management software is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Do

• Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Performing quantity takeoffs and plan markups using Bluebeam
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinating material procurement and tracking deliveries
• Supporting project planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Maintaining accurate project records in eSUB
• Collaborating with field teams to resolve technical questions and project challenges
• Assisting with permitting, inspections, project closeout, and occasional site visits
