FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Facilities Maintenance TechnicianIn this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems and industrial equipment by performing electrical, mechanical, and welding work. This position supports the maintenance team and plays an important role in ensuring facility operations run smoothly with minimal downtime.Facilities Maintenance Technician Pay & Details:Pay range: $23.50–$28.00/hr (based on experience)Schedule: Full-time, temp-to-hire 6a-230 ~~430p overtime!Location: Schertz, TX 78154Benefits: Weekly pay via pay card or direct deposit; access to Medical, Dental, Vision & moreTools provided — personal tools not requiredFacilities Maintenance Technician Duties:Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to support continuous operationsDiagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, controls, wiring, and basic PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtimePerform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding for equipment repair and fabricationTroubleshoot mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiencyRespond promptly to maintenance requests and maintain accurate records and work ordersFollow all safety policies and proceduresFacilities Maintenance Technician Requirements:Required:High school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of experience in maintenance or industrial equipment repair preferredValid Driver's LicenseStrong troubleshooting skills with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic toolsFamiliarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and small mechanical systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks in elevated areasDrug screen and background check requiredLegal authorization to work in the U.S.Reliable transportation (not on the bus line)Preferred:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, etc.)Owns personal hand tools (tools are provided, personal tools not required)Willingness to purchase steel-toe bootsWhy You'll Like Working as a Facilities Maintenance Technician:Hands-on, varied work every day — no two days are the sameOpportunity to expand your skills in electrical, plumbing, welding, and mechanical repairStable, long-term work with weekly payPotential to grow within the facility and maintenance fieldSupportive, safety-focused work environment
