Your Daily Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, coordinating necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatment regimens within your scope of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington D.C.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
