Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a diverse Medical/Surgical unit serving urology, gynecology, orthopedic, general medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Document all patient care activities and clinical findings accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating as appropriate

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — Nursys verification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• EPIC EMR proficiency required — must be noted in candidate profile
• Current certification card required
• No approved time-off requests (RTO) during the contract period
• Complete work history/resume with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients across multiple surgical and medical subspecialties (urology, orthopedics, vascular, ENT, trauma)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a high-acuity Med/Surg environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels
