In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications across the stack. The ideal candidate brings extensive software development experience, strong technical depth, and a passion for mentoring and elevating other engineers.Our team solves real business problems using modern technology approaches. We embrace Agile principles and deliver work early and often, including frequent customer feedback sessions and weekly demo days. Engineers, product managers, and designers collaborate closely and hold themselves to high engineering standards. We leverage generative AI in prototyping and product development and are building meaningful AI agents—not unnecessary chatbots—among other innovations. This is a team committed to applying current best practices while continuously iterating toward what’s next.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable, and efficient platform spanning back-end persistence and compute, APIs, and web applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirementsConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practicesMentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth and developmentParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesDrive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and engineering practicesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of software development experienceStrong proficiency in at least one strongly typed language, with a willingness to work in TypeScriptMinimum 3 years of experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Extensive experience with back-end technologies, NoSQL and/or SQL databases, React, TypeScript, and Node.jsSolid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practicesExperience conducting code reviews and mentoring engineersProficiency with AI-enabled software development and adaptability to evolving best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with GraphQLKnowledge of serverless architectures, event-driven systems, and microservicesFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including AWS CDKExperience building agentic AI solutionsExperience developing software for tax, accounting, or compliance-driven industries such as healthcare or financeExperience building multi-tenant SaaS applicationsExperience in a technical leadership role"Armanino" is the brand name under which Armanino LLP and Armanino Advisory LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with law, regulations, and professional standards. Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $125,900 - $148,100. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents the compensation range for this position: $138,500 - $162,900. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $144,800 - $170,300. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
