About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Internal Audit team, with a focus on Global Investment Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing audit coverage across investment banking activities, including leading and executing risk-based audits, assessing the effectiveness of the control environment, and challenging key business and regulatory risks. This role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders in the business, risk, compliance, and other control functions. The VP will also be expected to manage the full audit process, from planning to reporting, and to contribute to the development of more junior team members. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a background in internal audit within a bank or financial institution, with a strong knowledge of investment banking, corporate banking, and capital markets products and associated risks. Experience in auditing front-office businesses or working closely with investment banking stakeholders is essential, as is a strong understanding of financial services regulation and control environments. The role requires the ability to independently manage complex audits, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and identify emerging risks to contribute to ongoing risk assessments and audit planning. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded and able to provide clear, constructive challenge to the business.
