Job Description
Title: Endoscopy/GI Technician

Schedule: M-F Days and Night call

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an endoscopy technician is required.
- High-Level Disinfection certification is highly desired.
- Travel experience is required, with completion of at least one travel assignment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Apply principles of aseptic technique theories to equipment preparation and maintenance and assist with procedures.
- Disassemble, identify defective or malfunctioning parts, and perform preventive maintenance for all procedure supplies and equipment.
- Perform pre-cleaning requirements according to regulatory standards for all endoscopes, including inspection, leak testing, cleaning, and high-level disinfection.
- Determine methods of High-Level Disinfection mode for products based on material and/or manufacturer's instructions.
- Check and calibrate equipment according to protocols.
- Perform ambulatory technician duties as assigned, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and transporting patients.
