Location: Bay Area, California (Onsite/Hybrid)

Experience: 8-15 Years

Compensation: USD 130,000 - 170,000 (Based on Experience)

About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Bedrock Architect to design, build, and deploy next-generation Generative AI and agentic systems leveraging AWS Bedrock and related AWS services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, LLM-based solutions , and serverless/cloud-native system design .


This role requires a hands-on leader with the technical depth to architect robust, scalable AI-driven workflows and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and optimize AWS Bedrock-based solutions including agents, action groups, knowledge bases, and orchestration patterns.
• Design and develop RAG architectures , extending them into agentic workflows for enterprise-scale applications.
• Build and deploy AWS Lambda functions (Python) for complex, event-driven workflows and integrations.
• Configure and manage AWS API Gateway for REST and WebSocket APIs, including custom authorizers and integrations.
• Utilize AWS Fargate for containerized and long-running agent workloads.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK (TypeScript/Python) and CloudFormation .
• Integrate vector databases and semantic search capabilities with Bedrock knowledge bases.
• Work with both SQL (RDS, Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases for scalable data management.
• Apply prompt engineering , function calling , and agent reasoning techniques in production environments.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for serverless and containerized deployments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize distributed AI systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Communicate architectural designs and trade-offs effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or related field.
• 8-15 years of overall experience in software/cloud architecture.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI and LLM-based application development.
• Proven track record of architecting and deploying serverless applications on AWS at scale.
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS Bedrock Agents in production environments.
• Proficiency in AWS CDK , CloudFormation , and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Strong background in Python , Lambda , API Gateway , Fargate , and related AWS services.
• Experience with vector databases , semantic search , and RAG systems .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Generative AI model integration , fine-tuning , and custom orchestration logic .
• Experience with Power BI , Tableau , or similar tools for reporting and analytics.
• Understanding of secure data architectures and AWS Well-Architected Framework .
