Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses to provide skilled obstetric and neonatal care. These positions require immediate and upcoming start dates for night shift assignments, offering an opportunity to deliver high-quality maternal and newborn services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct comprehensive assessments of obstetric patients and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety and stability.
  
  
• 
  Assist with labor support, delivery procedures, and postpartum care.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical interventions and patient responses accurately in the EMR system.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active NY Registered Nurse license prior to submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in obstetric and neonatal assessments and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Capable of working night shifts (3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30).
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
  
• 
  Willing to adhere to travel compliance and RTO policies.
