If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize embedded platform software for automotive ADAS and autonomous driving systemsPerform board bring‑up and develop low‑level device drivers for SoC peripheralsLead camera bring‑up activities, including ISP integration and validationDevelop and integrate video pipelines, including video codecs and secure RTP streamingCollaborate closely with hardware, systems, and application teams to ensure seamless hardware–software integrationSupport platform stability, performance optimization, and production readinessRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in embedded software development for complex systemsStrong proficiency in C/C++Hands‑on experience with Linux and/or QNX kernel, BSP, and low‑level platform developmentSolid experience with board bring‑up and device driver development, including interfaces such as I2C, UART, SPI, PCIe, RGMII, SGMII, and camera ISPsExperience working with real‑time operating systems (RTOS)Preferred QualificationsAdvanced C++ application development experiencePrior experience in ADAS or autonomous driving systemsAbility to read and interpret hardware schematics, datasheets, and reference designsExperience with bootloaders, secure boot, firmware update mechanisms, and UDS diagnosticsStrong understanding of embedded security concepts, including cryptographic hardware, key management, and certificate managementAbout YouYou are a strong problem‑solver with excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
