Quality Engineer

About the Role Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will support business unit Quality Leads in implementing standardized quality systems throughout the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable international quality system requirements. What You’ll Be Doing Provide hands‑on assistance for the implementation and ongoing utilization of the QMS, including corrective actions, supplier quality management, customer complaints, change control, audit processes, standard procedures, test methods, and process controls. Ensure business unit systems align with corporate standards through continual reviews and oversight. Assist with maintaining standard scorecards and reports, such as NPS, SSD, CARs, SCARs, and change control processes. Identify trends and provide reports that add value for leadership decision‑making. Advise on new system roll‑outs (Agile, OracleEBS, CRM, etc.) and support BU quality leaders in applying quality systems. Location On‑site, Elk Grove Village, IL Facility. Requirements 3years of work experience in a corporate setting 4‑year degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field 5+years of work experience (including project‑management experience) ASQ Certification (preferred) Leadership experience of project teams Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work across multiple functions and lines of business Statistical analysis expertise Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, SPS software, and Agile Career Progression This is a progression position; level will be based on candidate experience and business needs.
