Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Through your expertise, utilizing specialized equipment, radioactive materials and innovative procedures, we are able to achieve accurate diagnoses, which is vital in the creation of treatment plans for our patients.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.2. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred4. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.5. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.7. Current BCLS (AHA) required.8. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.50 to $46.88 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
