Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic and treatment services to patients with cardiovascular diseases
• Perform thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in meetings and case discussions to enhance care delivery
• Stay updated with the latest research and advances in cardiology
• Document patient information and treatment plans accurately
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular health

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license to practice in the state of Nebraska
• Completion of a residency in Cardiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical assessment skills and expertise in cardiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Commitment to patient care and advancing cardiovascular health
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems

Must be board‑certified

ACLS, BLS, and DEA highly preferred

Paid travel and expenses

Schedule: 8a-4:30p

Night Call Coverage: 4:30p-8a

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Case Types: General cardiology, echos, and TEEs

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic
