Personal Lines Insurance Senior Account Manager

Position Summary: The Personal Lines Insurance Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing client's current insurance coverages, marketing new and renewal business, and rounding out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager also maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Tasks: Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client's insurance policies Acts with independent discretion and autonomy. Attends client meetings and influences decision-making on behalf of the insured. Represents the firm in a professional manner through appearance, communication style, and demeanor Preparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriers Assisting with cancellations of policies Educates clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs Handles renewals and remarkets as needed. Develop proposals and may present to clients. Handles or refers insured's questions or delegates to appropriate team member Actively refers clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business Maintains detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24) Maintains healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholders On occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current Core Competencies: Ability to Analyze and Solve Problems : Skill in recognizing challenges, exploring options, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner Attention to Detail: A strong focus on completing tasks and projects accurately and thoroughly Communication Skills: Capable of expressing ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms and engaging with various audiences Timely Task Completion : Ability to finish tasks and projects efficiently, managing resources and priorities effectively Team Collaboration : Willingness to work together with others, promoting teamwork and supporting shared goals Client Focus : Dedication to understanding and addressing the needs of clients and stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction Dependability : Acknowledgment of the importance of being present and punctual.
