Construction Inspector

Overview A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Construction Inspector . Position type: Full Time - Contract role Duration: 24 Months Location: San Antonio, TX Responsibilities Serve as field liaison between contractors, within various areas of the company, and customers as needed. Ensure contractors are working safely and in accordance with client standards and specifications, processes and procedures. Ensure contractors are following provided client designs and standards, coordinating approved modifications as appropriate. Attend and participate in pre-construction/planning, on-going construction status, and post-construction meetings. Perform field investigations to follow up on work completed and respond to customer concerns. Identify, stop, and report any contractor safety infractions with client management and/or contract crew management. Communicate with designers and other stakeholders regarding all changes made in the field. Conduct inspections of overhead lines and plan, coordinate and track work assigned to contractors. The ideal candidate will have High school diploma or GED. Extensive experience in overhead construction. Knowledge of client overhead construction standards and safety guidelines. Experience in reading and interpreting construction designs. Preferred Qualifications Experience in overhead journeyman. Vegetation experience in arboriculture or horticulture.
