Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:Sets Commission Management team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challengesProvides input to forecasting and planning activitiesIdentifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgementImplementation and management of payment integrity programsProvide leadership to Operations SMEs to drive resultsProvide collaborative leadership to matrix partners including but not limited to Call Center, Carrier Relations, Compliance, Communications, Sales Management, Field Support and LicensingProvide operational impacts and metrics in order to ensure transparency and alignment with priorities and productionPerform comprehensive research and identify abnormalities, questionable practices, and/or irregularitiesSupports our culture by coaching, mentoring and encouraging employee growthEnsure proper controls are in place for commission processing and paymentsTransform processes through change or technology improvementsEnsures compliance with established service level agreements, and applicable legal and regulatory requirementsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)3+ years in leadership role with experience in management of staff in production environment Customer management experience, including operational support Experience identifying technical issues and driving issue resolution Experience in interpretation of data trends, driving solutions and process improvementsExperienced with using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel (data analysis, sorting/filtering, pivot tables), PowerPoint (prepare formal presentations and training)Ability to work full-time between 8:00am – 5:00pm including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business needPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)3+ years of experience in insurance or financial related fieldTelecommuting Requirements:Reside within Central Standard Time ZoneRequired to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacyAbility to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet serviceUnitedHealth Group requires all new hires and employees to report their COVID-19 vaccination status.Military & Veterans find your next mission: We know your background and experience is different and we like that.
