JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounts Receivables Associate is responsible for supporting the collection and processing of customer payments while maintaining accurate financial records. This role involves managing customer accounts, resolving inquiries, and assisting in reporting and process improvement initiatives. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and basic analytical skills to manage a diverse and global customer portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer payments and update accounts receivable records  
  • Prepare and distribute account statements to customers  
  • Respond to basic customer inquiries, primarily via email  
  • Analyze customer accounts and track outstanding balances  
  • Conduct root cause analysis of late payments and recommend improvements  
  • Assist in month-end reporting and reconciliation activities  
  • Participate in accounts receivable process improvement projects  
  • Manage a complex portfolio of customers across multiple regions (Scandinavia, Middle East, Far East, U.S. Government)  
  • Download, organize, and upload financial data using Excel  
  • Use basic Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, sorting, and pivot tables  
  • Communicate internally via Zoom, email, and in-person interactions  
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain strong customer relationships  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)  
  • Minimum 1+ year of relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable or finance-related role  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data handling)  
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  
  • Ability to work independently under moderate supervision  
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking ability  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience handling international customer portfolios  
  2. Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes  
  3. Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
