Water/Wastewater Engineer in Training

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer in Training to join our team. The position will focus primarily on water/wastewater related projects, including but not limited to supply, conveyance, treatment, and disposal. Wilson & Company offers top tier benefits, strives to enable a suitable work-life balance for all employees, and proudly maintains collaborative and positive work environments.Essential Job Requirements:Willing and able to travel to project sites as necessary.Practical and Technical written and oral communication skills.Proven ability to work in and support a team environment.High level of independence, confidence, and strong work ethic.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply fundamental engineering principles.Familiarity with engineering software for design and analytical analysis.Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles focused around hydraulic and environmental engineering concepts.Familiarity with development of technical reports, engineering plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Duties & Responsibilities:Support field investigations or assessments.Perform design engineering calculations.Assist in the design of various types of water and wastewater infrastructure.Provide data collection, analysis, ad reporting.Participate in writing and production of project reports.Take direction, guidance, and mentorship of senior engineers.Advance a project from inception to construction, through various stage of design and construction by adhering to timeframes and deadlines.Required Qualifications:BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.) from an EAC/ABET -Accredited college or university.EIT Certification (i.e. Passed (or have the ability to pass) Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam)Ability to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) License following completion of required work experience.Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.Annual Salary Range: $75,000 + Depending on ExperienceAbout Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
