Physician Assistant Program Faculty Position
Barry University's College of Health Professions and Medical Sciences (CHPMS) is seeking a dynamic and innovative full time (12 month) faculty member to join our interdisciplinary group of healthcare experts. This position will be dedicated to our graduate-level Physician Assistant program (Master of Clinical Medical Sciences).
This position is In-Person
Essential Functions:
- Teach graduate-level courses in the physician assistant program.
- Provide student mentorship and advising, including master's thesis/projects.
- Engage in Program, College, and University service.
- Engage in scholarship.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or accredited allopathic/osteopathic medical program.
- Current, unrestricted Florida licensure as a PA, medical or osteopathic physician, or eligibility.
- Current NCCPA or physician board certification or eligibility.
- Master's degree required. An earned doctorate in a health-related field or in education preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Prior faculty experience is preferred.
