Job Title: Outpatient Clinic RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year traveler experience required License: Must have both a compact or individual state license Certifications: BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Pediatric experience required Description: Outpatient Clinic RN position available in a Client specialty. The unit primarily sees stable patients for new and follow-up outpatient visits. The unit operates during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Shifts generally vary from 8 to 10 hours, covering 07:00 to 17:30. Changes to work schedules are discussed with staff as they arise. Any child-friendly color or print scrubs are acceptable. Charting is done using the EPIC system. Travelers will be required to float between different facilities. Patients include a variety of diagnoses such as concussions, epilepsy, and developmental delays. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, and social services. Special procedures may include acupuncture, Botox, and nerve blocks. RNs must have both Missouri and Kansas licenses. A medication/dosage test will be administered in the first week, with a passing score required. Travelers are expected to provide care within a smoke-free facility.
