Construction Estimator – High-End Residential Construction

Established custom home builder seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building thorough budgets for custom homes, additions and remodels for distinctive residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets for custom residential projects
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns
• Assist with value engineering and budget management
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients throughout preconstruction

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in high-end residential construction
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and pricing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

Compensation:

• Competitive Salary: $70,000-$90,000 annually, based on experience
• Bonus Program: Year end bonus based on company profits and individual performance
