Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Travere as we continue to grow in support of our commitment to identify, develop, and deliver life-changing therapies to people living with rare disease. During Travere Therapeutics' 11-week Early Career Talent Internship Program, beginning June 7, 2027, the intern will work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite and 3 days virtually per week) and gain mentorship and cross-functional exposure while contributing to team objectives. The internship program will conclude with an opportunity to deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, key findings, contributions, and learning from the internship to senior leadership.

The Quality Intern will gain hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical quality systems while supporting projects focused on document control and training (including our Learning Management System (LMS)) as well as be exposed to the work of different functions within Quality.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in structured training to learn foundational concepts, processes, and systems used within the Quality organization.
• Support entry-level administrative activities and defined project work that contributes to Quality team priorities.
• Assist with organizing information, documentation, tracking, or other project support activities as assigned.
• Observe how quality systems support compliant and effective biopharmaceutical operations.
• Interview and interact with various quality functions and other departments to understand how aspects of the company interact to help ensure a complaint quality system.
• Document key learnings, contributions, and observations throughout the internship.
• Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing the project work completed, contributions made, and key aspects of Quality learned during the internship.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with at least one semester to complete prior to graduation.
• Interest in biotechnology, pharmaceutical quality, regulated operations, or compliance is preferred.

• Ability to attend and participate onsite in San Diego on a regular daily basis during the internship.
• All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Target Base Pay Range:

*$25 - 35 per hour
