Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Salary Range: $42-$62 per hour Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, No weekend rotation Facility: 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at our 99-bed SNF. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric care and experience working in a SNF setting. Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals Provide therapy and interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Stay current with new developments and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF setting Experience with geriatric population preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements CPR certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services
