In this role, you'll help build custom heavy haul trailers from the ground up, installing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems that keep our equipment operating safely and efficiently.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in diesel, automotive, trailer repair, heavy equipment, or industrial assembly who are looking to expand their skills in a highly specialized manufacturing environment.Why Apply?Work on custom-built heavy haul trailers, not repetitive assembly line workOpportunities to learn new skills, including paint prep, blasting, welding, and fabricationStable, full-time position with overtime opportunitiesUse your mechanical knowledge every day in a hands-on environmentJoin a team that values quality craftsmanship and continuous growthWhat You'll DoAssemble custom heavy haul trailers using hand and power tools while following blueprints and specifications.Install and route hydraulic hoses, fittings, and components.Perform electrical wiring and trailer control system installation.Install, adjust, and test pneumatic systems.Assemble steering systems, wheel assemblies, brakes, and other mechanical components.Align trailers to ensure proper performance and safety standards.Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical issues during assembly.Use cranes and lifting equipment to safely position heavy components.Read blueprints, technical drawings, and tape measurements accurately.Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all company safety procedures.Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Participate in cross-training opportunities in paint prep, blasting, and fabrication processes.ShiftMonday - Thursday (2pm - 12am)Pay$21 - $27 (based on experience)This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
