About the Position

The Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care for patients who require more monitoring than general medical-surgical units but are not critically ill enough for the ICU. These patients often have complex medical conditions or are recovering from major surgery. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

• Active RN License (state-specific or compact).

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Stepdown, PCU, or Telemetry experience .

• Certifications:

  • BLS – Required

  • ACLS – Required
