Job Description Job Description Job Title: Wire Manufacturing Supervisor Location: Onsite in Lewisville, TX – Manufacturing Environment Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs per week (overtime as needed) TEMP-TO-HIRE Overview We are seeking an experienced Wire Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily operations within a wire production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing personnel, equipment, and workflow to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on CNC experience along with strong leadership skills to drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet daily targets Support hiring, performance management, and employee development initiatives Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Operations & Technical Oversight Oversee setup, programming, and operation of CNC wire forming and bending equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust machine parameters as needed Ensure proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of tools and machinery Monitor production processes to maintain efficiency and product quality Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures Inspect materials and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications Identify production issues and implement corrective actions Support LEAN initiatives and process improvement efforts Training & Development Train and mentor team members on equipment, safety, and best practices Support onboarding and ongoing skill development for employees Administrative Responsibilities Manage work orders, production documentation, and reporting Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting Maintain time and attendance records Qualifications Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience Experience with CNC programming, machine setup, or wire manufacturing preferred Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Hands-on experience with CNC equipment and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Solid math and analytical skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Mechanically inclined with ability to use hand tools Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Additional Requirements Ability to lift 30–50 lbs Reliable transportation Willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screening Preferred Qualifications Experience with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards Experience with wire forming, bending, or metal fabrication processes Bilingual abilities are a plus #ZR
