Location: This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based in Bastrop, Texas, offering flexibility while keeping you connected to the legal team and clients.
Note: An active Texas Bar license in good standing is required. Candidates must have 5+ years of directly relevant litigation experience and be able to independently handle substantive litigation responsibilities.

Job Description
- Handle litigation matters involving business, property, contract, and related disputes.
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Develop case strategies and work closely with Partners on complex and high-value matters.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing counsel and other parties.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other litigation-related matters.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation activity from inception through resolution.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other involved parties.
- Monitor developments in Texas law, including the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.
- Maintain approximately 7 billable hours per day.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas Bar license and current good standing required.
- 5+ years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality litigation documents.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
- Experience with business and/or property litigation strongly preferred.
