Responsibilities

• Part of the heart team; performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
• Assist with CVOR case setup, instrument handling, and intraoperative support for cardiothoracic procedures
• Maintain sterile technique, uphold patient safety standards, and support OR protocols throughout procedures
• Ensure CVOR equipment and supplies are ready and functioning; assist with room turnover and post-case cleanup
• Collaborate with the surgical team to support efficient case flow and accurate instrumentation management

Requirements

• Ability to work in a hospital operating room environment under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment and to work a 4x10 day shift schedule
• Willingness to participate in on-call activities (6-7 days per month)
• Geographically eligible to work in the Columbia, MO area for the duration of the assignment
