Senior / Staff Accountant (Contract)

*Kissimmee, FL | 100% On-Site

*Up to $36/hour DOE

*Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Staff Accountant for a contract opportunity in Kissimmee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience managing financials for homeowner/community associations and proficiency with Vantaca software .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and account reconciliations
• Perform month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid schedules
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting
• Ensure monthly financial packages are completed and delivered by the 20th of each month
• Manage an assigned portfolio of 20-25 properties, increasing to 37-40 properties within the first 90 days
• Monitor community finances and maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant role
• HOA, property management, or community association accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience using Vantaca software required
• Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, accruals, and reconciliations
• Ability to manage multiple entities/properties in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
