New York State license required.Job DescriptionThe qualified candidate will be responsible for the processing, embedding, cutting, and staining of surgical and autopsy tissue, as well as the preparation and staining of cytopathology specimens according to established policies and procedures for Pathologist examination and interpretation.Responsibilities include:Correct management of patient body tissuePreparation of microscopic sections for diagnosis by the PathologistDocumentation and maintenance of supplies and equipmentPerformance of specialized and selective techniques required for diagnostic purposesParticipation in the Quality Assurance program
