Non-Invasive Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Non-Invasive Cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac nursing experience with a focus on stress testing and diagnostic cardiac procedures. This RN will assist with patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response throughout cardiac testing procedures.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Active RN license
• Previous cardiac stress testing experience
• Experience with multiple stress testing modalities, including:
• Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing
• Dobutamine Stress Testing
• Cardiac MRI Stress Testing
• CCTA (Coronary CT Angiography)
• Exercise/Treadmill Stress Testing
• Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and ECG interpretation skills
• Experience administering and monitoring medications used during cardiac testing
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure patient assessments and ensure patients are appropriately prepared for testing
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient response throughout stress testing procedures
• Administer medications according to established protocols and provider orders
• Assist with Nuclear Medicine, Dobutamine, MRI, CCTA, and other non-invasive cardiac testing
• Recognize abnormal findings or adverse patient responses and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, imaging staff, Nuclear Medicine, and other members of the cardiovascular team
• Provide patient education regarding testing procedures, expectations, and post-procedure instructions

Schedule and hours 4 10s (6-4:30, rotating day off) OR 5 8s (7-3:30)this can be negotiable. ALSO rotating weekend coverage is required.
