Procurement Specialist

Procurement SpecialistThis procurement specialist will support the engineering teams within a prototyping and manufacturing team. There will be purchasing of every day products, but also technical sourcing for electro-mechanical parts. This person will work cross functionally with engineers, technicians, onsite logistics, and outside vendor management.They analyze engineering specifications, manage project budgets, and ensure timely delivery to keep operations running without delay. The must be able to anticipate needs depending on incoming work, or knowledge of the current inventory in the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesMost will be new purchases for test stations or Prototyping and Integration ticket builds. primarily rack items, lab supplies, harnessing and PCB lab builds.Vendor Management: Parts from vendors like Mcmaster, Digikey, Mouser, CDW, etcManufacturing ExperienceProcurement/ Supply Chain / Logistics experience -also would like experience with Jira and Coupa if availableExport Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
