Operations Manager

Greater Houston Area | On-site | Direct Hire Our client is a privately held industrial services provider supporting energy-sector accounts across the U.S. As the business grows, leadership is adding a generalist operator who will report to the President. This person will own finance, HR, and day-to-day administration, a broad mandate suited to someone who's comfortable being the person who makes sure things get done. What the Role Covers Operations & Reporting Own KPI tracking and management reporting, including materials for ownership/board-level review Translate the CEO's priorities into operating plans and follow-through across departments Finance Run the annual budget process and track performance against it Own bookkeeping oversight, bank relationships, and expense controls Be the main contact for the outside CPA firm on tax prep and year-end close People & Policy Run benefits administration and liaise with outside brokers Handle the full hire-to-exit employee lifecycle Keep role descriptions and review cycles current Field, Contracts & Risk Keep the company's standing with client vendor-credentialing systems in good order so field crews never lose site access Manage corporate insurance lines and maintain a working log of contracts, NDAs, and renewal dates Loop in outside counsel when something needs a legal opinion; keep corporate filings current Who Fits This Role Bachelor's degree in business or related field Solid background in operations, finance, or administrative leadership at a small or mid-sized privately held company Genuinely good with numbers, and gets to the bottom of problems without waiting for permission Clear communicator who works well with people at every level #J-18808-Ljbffr Morgan Benjamin Search Group
