Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
This role involves supporting a cardiac catheterization laboratory by preparing and assisting with various interventional procedures. The technician will monitor patient data, assist physicians, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up for cardiac caths, PCIs, STEMI interventions, and other vascular and radiology procedures.
• Monitor, document, and analyze hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Provide procedural support to physicians during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.
• Assess and manage access sites, informing physicians of any concerns.
• Adhere to on-call protocols to ensure readiness for emergent cath lab procedures.
• Prepare patients and assist with positioning and equipment to ensure smooth procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• RCIS certification preferred; BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience required.
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath lab required.
• Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and vascular access management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
