About the Role

The Company is in need of a VP of Finance and Accounting with a strong background in manufacturing finance and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a solid team and owning the financials for the site, which has an approximate value of $100M. This hands-on role requires the VP to be involved in both strategic and tactical initiatives, providing financial insight to support the company's objectives. Key responsibilities include forecasting budgets, managing cost and rate structures, overseeing audits, treasury, and risk mitigation, as well as supporting proposals and contracts. The VP will also be expected to communicate and advise the executive team on financial matters and to develop and mentor the finance team. Applicants for the VP of Finance and Accounting position at the company must have a strong background in manufacturing finance and accounting, with a focus on GAAP. Experience with Defense FAR/DFARs is a plus. The role demands a leader who can not only manage the financial aspects of the business but also identify and implement process and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have a BS, MS, or MBA with over 10 years' of experience, and must be a US citizen. The VP will be expected to have a proactive approach, be able to work closely with the executive team, and be committed to the success of the organization.
