Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components to minimize equipment downtime. Interpret complex technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately isolate and resolve system failures. Maintain detailed digital service records and work orders to ensure fleet health and maintenance transparency. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics to foster team growth and skill development. Coordinate with logistics teams to assist in the efficient transport and staging of equipment and necessary repair parts. Execute preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifecycle of high-value machinery. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, aerial lifts, or diesel engine systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and electrical diagrams. Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical diagnostic procedures. Possession of a personal set of professional-grade tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent certification. Preferred Skills Completion of a formal trade school program or relevant OEM certifications. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and workplace compliance.
