Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule:

• Shift: Nights 7P - 7:30A
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• Minimum every other weekend
• Minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
• RN - Registered Nurse license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) required upon hire
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required within 180 days
• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course certification required within 18 months
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 180 days
• Less than 1 year of experience with direct patient care preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care
• Perform emergency procedures as needed and respond to crises in a timely manner
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans

• A completed cover sheet is required for each submission
• Must participate in orientation and comply with background check and drug screen policies
