About the Role

Were looking for Direct Care Staff with backgrounds in juvenile detention, behavioral health, or residential treatment . This is a hands-on role working with youth (ages 1017) with mental health behaviors/diagnosis or Intellectual Disabilities/Autism. Youll ensure safety, provide structure, and support their treatment journey.

What Youll Do

• Supervise youth and maintain a safe, structured environment

• Support daily routines: meals, school, recreation, group sessions

• Use trauma-informed strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviors

• Document incidents and progress notes

• Transport youth to school, appointments, and community outings

• Work closely with supervisors and treatment teams

What Were Looking For

• Experience : juvenile detention, behavioral/mental health, or residential treatment preferred

• Minimum : High school diploma/GED, 25+ years old (per state licensing requirements)

• Strong communication and crisis-management skills

• Valid drivers license

• Must pass FBI fingerprinting & drug test
