Exclusive travel discounts on hotels, car rentals, & cruises 401(k) with company match Life insurance Quarterly bonus plan Education assistance Holiday pay Paid time off Job Description The Training Specialist contributes to the success of McGee Air Services and our customers by ensuring that our team members meet all requirements, that we maintain excellent documentation of training records, and that we continuously seek to improve upon skills and knowledge for our operations team members. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of training for their assigned station, monitoring effectiveness of training, and will identify and drive ongoing improvements. Key Responsibilities Facilitate training sessions, both in the classroom, and on‑the‑job training (OJT) Mentor and coach team members in the operation, and explain why procedures and policies are in place to raise the knowledge and awareness level of team members Conduct observations and audits to ensure training effectiveness and compliance Ensure training record retention is maintained within compliance and alignment with McGee and customer expectations Ensure completion of monthly Greenlight completion and prepare required status updates and reports Identify the need for remedial/refresher training in the event that deficiencies are observed and develop tools to improve skills and behaviors Exemplify McGee Air Services' values at all times, and set a great example by demonstrating correct safety and operational procedures at all times Support Safety, Compliance, and other initiatives and tasks as assigned, ranging from frontline work to miscellaneous station support functions Schedule and prepare training location(s) and materials and ensure that students are provided with pre‑work and location details in order to provide an excellent learning experience and environment Qualifications 1‑3 years of airline experience with proven skills in station operations required Demonstrated skills in proactive and honest communication, providing direction and allowing team members to execute tasks, setting clear expectations, and holding others accountable required Proven ability to provide specific and constructive feedback as well as positive recognition Always promote and maintain a culture of safety Thrive in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment to meet and exceed operational targets while maintaining service, timeline, and compliance requirements Self‑motivated, with proven ability to lead and direct the work of others Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information. Obtain and maintain an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or disclose their compensation or the compensation of other employees or applicants are also protected by law. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is always required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license and one of the following documents in order to obtain a Port Badge and US Customs Security clearance.
