Seasonal Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support our busy retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You'll process sales and rentals, maintain merchandising and store cleanliness, and support school service programs. You'll actively promote lessons and events, meet sales goals, and collaborate with a student-focused, education-driven team that is passionate about music, community engagement, and helping students and educators succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selection of instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly sales and service on the sales floor and at the register
• Process instrument rentals, returns, and repair intakes accurately
• Maintain merchandising, product displays, and store cleanliness
• Promote lessons, events, and programs that support music education
• Support school service initiatives and collaborate with school reps as needed
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals during peak seasonal periods
• Handle basic inventory tasks, tagging, stocking, and pricing
• Use POS and rental systems to complete transactions and maintain records
• Work collaboratively with team members to uphold a student-focused, service-driven culture
