Location: Eden Prairie, MN (remote)

Objectives of this Role:

• Successfully deliver the technology aspects of the program
• Partner with other program leaders and the project management office (PMO) to successfully deliver the program as a whole
• Manage and coordinate technology plans across numerous projects that comprise the program
• In coordination with project leads, oversee multiple technology project teams, ensuring program goals are achieved
• Lead and contribute to the teams fulfillment of UHGs five cultural values of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation, and Performance
• Ensure the program meets Optums standards including resourcing, schedule, quality, and performance
• Manage program and project budgets
• Clearly and effectively communicate program status both within the project team and outside of the project team. Able to identify/manage risks & issues
• Minimize and mitigate stress and burnout for the technology project team
• Effective collaboration with and influence of our external partners including Oracle and the selected systems integrator and other technology partners

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with program leaders and the PMO to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plan, and budget
• Manage the technology program towards the developed scope, deliverables, work plan, and budget
• Coordinate with technology project leads to ensure all projects in the program meet standards of quality, scope, schedule, and budget
• Work with program leadership and project leadership to identify risks and mitigate them before they become issues
• Provide technology program status reports on a regular basis
• Provide status and regular program and project updates to Optum Technology leadership
• Actively work to remove obstacles that impede the projects success
• Ensure appropriate workloads and responsibilities for resources to avoid burnout
• Collaborate with the Change Management team to design and implement an operational model that fits the software solution

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years leading information technology programs and projects
• 10+ years leading HCM technology programs and projects
• Prior experience leading at least one multi-project program from beginning to end on Oracle Cloud HCM
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Understanding of and experience with agile principles
• Bachelors degree in information systems, business administration, or other related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership role on a migration project involving a move from on premise to Cloud technology
• Master’s degree in information systems or related field
