Since 2006, Dragonfly has provided routine maintenance and repairs on stormwater devices, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and underground facilities.Location: San Marcos, TXPay: $17-$19 per hourPrimary ResponsibilitiesAssist the Crew Leader with all aspects of pond and lake maintenance servicesPerform mowing and string trimming on pond slopes, banks, and basin areasAssist with the selective removal of invasive vegetation surrounding ponds and waterwaysLoad, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and planting materialsEnsure all company equipment and tools are collected, secured, and accounted for at the end of each workdayFollow all company safety procedures and operate equipment in a safe and responsible mannerSupport other crews and departments as operational needs requireEquipment Operation & MaintenanceStand-on, walk-behind, and zero-turn mowersEdgers, string trimmers, and chainsawsBackpack blowers and sprayersHand tools including shovels, rakes, picks, and pruning toolsRequirementsMinimum of one year of experience in pond/lake maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or pesticide application preferredAbility to routinely lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to walk and work on steep or uneven terrain for extended periodsAbility to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workdayAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditionsAbility to safely work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, insects, and other environmental hazardsStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a teamReliable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist where needed in a fast-paced environmentBenefits & PerksMedical, dental, vision insuranceSupplemental insurance optionsEmployee referral bonuses401(k) matchingLife insuranceFlexible spending accountsEmployee assistance programPaid time offHoliday payWe are proudly an Equal Opportunity Employer.
