They value creative problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments and have experience working both in startups and large tech companies.Why join us?Great Benefits, Remote, Equity, Growth Opportunity, Great Culture, PTO, 401K plus match, and much more!ResponsibilitiesGreenfield development as well as improving current platform architecture, backend services, APIs, and systems written in TypeScript & Node.Design, optimize, and implement efficient data structures in MongoDB and Elasticsearch.Enhance search capabilities and recommendation systems data pipelines to manage and process large-scale data efficiently.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse services and data sources.Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable solutions.Ensure high performance, security, and availability of backend infrastructure.Diagnose and resolve complex issues in both development and production environments.Contribute to architectural discussions, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the team.Requirements6-12 years of experience and track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.Recent production experience building backend services and APIs using Node.js & TypeScript.Experience with building APIs end to end and event-driven software or Microservices.Experience with setting up data infrastructure, ETL, and large scale data systems and various tools such as MongoDB.Expertise in AWS cloud services, Terraform was a big plus.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to architectural decisions.PreferredPrevious experience at both startup environments and larger tech companies like Twitter or Meta.Demonstrated ability to design and build systems from scratch including data infrastructure.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
