Shelby, MI, 1st Shift, $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Grinder/Finisher to join our team in Shelby, MI. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of the production process—ensuring each metal part is finished to exact specifications with precision and care.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Grinder/Finisher , your core responsibilities will include:

• Grinding and Finishing: Grind and buff metal parts to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

• Inspection: Inspect metal parts for accuracy and finish to ensure they meet required specifications.

• Packaging: Pack completed metal parts in crates or bins for shipment.

In addition, you will also be expected to follow operational and safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Experience grinding metal parts according to customer specifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively

• High attention to safety and detail

Skills:

• Grinding & Polishing: Previous buffing, polishing, or grinding experience required to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.

• Attention to Detail: Ensures each part meets customer specifications with precision.

• Teamwork: Works well with others in a collaborative, production-based environment.

• Reading & Interpretation: Able to understand written procedures, part numbers, and instruction sheets accurately.
