Systems Administrator

Mount Prospect Location Mount Prospect, IL, US Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually DeliverCareRx is looking for a System Administrator working at our Mount Prospect, Illinois pharmacy (on-site). This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining all facets of infrastructure related to technology. Role requires participation in On-Call rotations, as well as the possibility of working outside normal business hours. Key functions of the role include: Maintain corporate IT systems including desktop & laptop computers, Servers, VoIP, VMware, Firewalls, Switches, Vlans, VPN, building entry/security systems, etc. Troubleshoot IT systems where an issue is reported by computer users. Ability to work with outside vendors on projects and/or problem resolutions. Implementing security software and tools to ensure maximum security from outside threats. Performs preventive maintenance, including keeping software up to date. Installs and repairs hardware and sets up systems for new users. Carries out data backup, administration and recovery Communication setups with 3 rd parties SQL database manipulations Support internal and external web sites Provide aid/guidance to junior staff The successful employee in this role will incorporate the following education, experience and capabilities: Working knowledge of network system design and configuration. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server Architectures Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems Additional certificate courses such as systems security, database management, computer programming and architecture, etc. Familiarity with HIPAA technology standards and practices Ability to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes Effective hardware and problem-solving software abilities Ability to use utility tools to monitor elements of the system Performance Competencies: Outstanding ethical personal character with commitment to compliance and integrity Talent and ability to learn new technologies and implement them successfully Excellent problem-solving skills Judgment/decision-making capability Ability to manage multiple priorities Patience working with users and management Highly organized and self-motivated Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace DeliverCareRx is a drug-free workplace that conducts pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.
