Data Scientist/Engineer - Junior (Remote)

Stuck in Support: The Path for QA, Helpdesk, and IT Jobseekers Adjacent to Engineering Is Not the Same as Being Hired as an Engineer You are in QA, helpdesk, production support, or IT operations. You ticketing-system your way through the week and apply to Java developer jobs at night. Hiring managers do not treat ticket volume as Spring Boot experience. Internal transfers never open. You are close to tech and still outside the roles that pay and grow. SynergisticIT JOPP is for people with some technical exposure who need a real developer stack, real projects, and a marketing push into software engineer and Java developer seats. Build the Skills Your Current Job Will Not Teach You Get Core Java, OOP, collections, Spring Boot, REST, SQL, Git, testing, and DSA-the language of developer interviews. Projects become the evidence that you can build, not only log defects. Interview prep teaches you to talk like a developer: tradeoffs, complexity, debugging, and design, not only process. A CS degree helps but is not strictly required; programming knowledge in Java or C++ is the practical bar called out on the Java JOPP page. If you already debug systems all day, you may ramp faster than a pure beginner, but you still need the stack. Since 2010, we've helped thousands of candidates land full-time jobs at tech leaders like Google, Apple, PayPal, Visa, Western Union, Wells Fargo, Client, Paypal, Banking, Wayfair, Client, Client and hundreds more with Job offers of $95k to $154k. Synergisticit focuses on closing the gap between your tech skills and what employers want now. You're not alone-and you're not the problem. The reality? Most CS grads struggle to land interviews because their resumes look just like everyone else's. Employers want more than a diploma-they want proven, practical skills, real-world tools, and candidates who are ready to perform from day one. That's exactly what SynergisticIT delivers.
