Contract Nicu Respiratory Therapist (Rrt)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. No call required.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled registered respiratory therapist (RRT) for a contract position in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care for pediatric patients and will demonstrate expertise in using advanced respiratory equipment and therapies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care and perform therapeutic procedures for neonates and pediatric patients.
- Administer nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
- Monitor patient progress and provide necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Document patient care according to facility protocols and maintain accurate medical records.
Required experience / certifications / licensure:
- Current RRT credential and state license.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are mandatory for this position.
- Previous NICU or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) experience is preferred.
