Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run over-the-road dry van freight for HMD Trucking operating from South Bend, serving coast-to-coast lanes as a solo CDL-A driver. The role focuses on dependable route execution, safety-first driving, and consistent freight opportunities.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate company dry van tractors on OTR trips and conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections.
• Secure freight, meet delivery windows, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
• Coordinate with dispatch and access in-house maintenance as needed.

What to expect: Modern trucks under three years with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, pay starting at $0.65/mi with about 2,500 miles weekly and safety/referral bonuses. Home every two weeks and full benefit package. CDL-A and 12+ months experience required.
