Quality Assurance Technician

Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a QA Technician to join their team. As a QA Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the food safety and quality assurance programs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Technician

Location: Jessup, MD

Pay Range: $19.25

Shift: Monday 10 am - 6 pm, Wednesday - Friday 10 am - 6 pm, Saturday 7 am - 2 pm

What's the Job?

• Perform environmental testing procedures according to established SOPs.

• Complete all required HACCP checks, measurements, and documentation accurately and on time using AuditComply and other reporting systems.

• Conduct pre-operational inspections, including ATP testing.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with GMPs, HACCP programs, sanitation standards, and company SOPs.

• Observe product flow through various production departments to ensure food safety standards are maintained.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of production experience required.

• Knowledge of food processing, food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
