Travel Respiratory Therapist Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. Company Fusion Medical Staffing, Facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Details Location: Louisville, Kentucky. Duration: 13 weeks. Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans. Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples. Administer treatments including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications. Set up and monitor respiratory equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery. Educate patients and/or family members on medication use and equipment operation. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice. Qualifications Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC. Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Physical Requirements Remain in a stationary position and move about. Move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs, push, pull, and bend as necessary. Technical / Motor Skills Grasp and perform fine manipulation. Push, pull, and move about while assisting with procedures or using department equipment. Mental Requirements Manege frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Work under close supervision occasionally, as well as independently without assistance from other personnel. Possess visual acuity and effective communication skills.
